Every donation helps provide clothing and essential items to individuals and families facing hardship throughout Northern New Jersey and New York. Howard's Mission is powered entirely by volunteers, and your generosity allows us to continue serving over 35 partner organizations.
Whether you're cleaning out your closet or organizing a community donation drive, your support helps someone in need.
Items We Accept
To help us serve our community efficiently, we gladly accept clean, gently used or new:

Shoes (paired)

Blankets & Sheets
- Socks, hats, gloves, & scarves

Backpacks & Bags

New underwear
- New Toiletries and hygiene products
Items We Cannot Accept
Unfortunately, we cannot accept:

Furniture, Household items, and Dishes or kitchenware

Used underwear & Bathing suits

Razors
-
Damaged or heavily worn clothing
Keeping donations within these guidelines allows our volunteers to spend more time serving people and less time sorting unusable items.
Financial Donations
Monetary donations help us purchase items we consistently need, including:

Every dollar goes directly toward supporting our mission and the people we serve.
Organize a Donation Drive
Schools, businesses, churches, scout troops, sports teams, and community groups can make a huge impact by hosting a donation drive for Howard's Mission.
We'll provide guidance and help coordinate your collection, delivery, or pickup. If you're interested, please complete the attached Donation Drive Request Form and email it to helpfromhoward@gmail.com.
